Tech Tuesday for April 13, 2021

This Weeks Free Software Pick

Avoiding malware in the first place is by far the best defence but, if you do get malware, you’ll need help cleaning it up. Here’s the thing, if you have malware, your antivirus didn’t do its job. Running a virus scan with your current antivirus is likely not going to help. That’s where Malwarebytes can help.

Malwarebytes comes in both free and paid versions and it can run alongside most antivirus software. The free version will let you scan for and clean malware but the paid version runs in the background always checking for suspicious activity.

Malwarebytes has been a Bowes IT favourite for years and we can’t recommend it enough.
